Eagles fall to Falcons, 30-17

The Eagles played dead on both offense and defense in the week 8 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Andy Reid’s 13-year streak of winning after the bye week has been snapped due to poor coaching by Reid and horrible play on both sides of the ball. Led by Michael Vick, who leads the league in turnovers with 14 (8 interceptions and 6 fumbles), the Eagles gained 5 total yards in the first quarter and ended up allowing nearly 400 total offensive yards. Fans at Lincoln Financial Field chanted “Fire Andy” after halftime. The Eagles will face a tough challenge next week as they take on Drew Brees in the Superdome.
